Franklin Auction: Everything You Need to Know

Screen Shot 2016-03-22 at 10.18.58 AMAs you probably already know, the auction is the single biggest fundraiser of the year for the Franklin Elementary PTA. It’s how we pay for field trips, art docent, and school assemblies. We can’t do all this without you.

You can get started now with the online auction, which started March 17 and runs through April 9. There are Warriors tickets, A’s tickets, Tahoe getaways, a Pixar tour, tickets to the Maker Faire, a cookie party, and more! Your kids could take a potions class with Mr. Brantley, ride the ferry and tour AT&T Park with Ms. Walovich, or attend a pizza-popcorn-movie party with Ms. Silva and Ms. Walovich or Ms. Twite and Ms. Pieri. And that’s not all! Log on now to and start bidding.

The auction website is also the place to buy tickets to Hot Havana Nights, Franklin’s live auction and party. This year’s auction will be Saturday, April 9, at 7 p.m. at Rhythmix Cultural Works in Alameda. Drinks and food will be provided, along with a live auction and dancing.

The live auction will be the only place to see and bid on the class art projects. Each class has worked with their art docents to create a unique piece featuring your child’s art.

Finally, it’s not to late to donate! The online auction will be adding new items along the way, so check back often, and contact Jennifer Roloff at if you have any items to add.
